The white truffle capital, Alba, is just 20 minutes away, while Bra, the home of Slow Food, is just 15 minutes. Being so central to the Barolo region makes Villa Ribota the ideal base from which to experience everything the Langhe has to offer. Visit vineyards, sample some Slow Food, hunt for truffles, explore the ancient villages and castles, walk through the vines, cycle, play golf, or just relax and soak up some of that Italian ‘dolce vita’… whatever you want to do, Villa Ribota is the perfect rental house for your dream Italian holiday.

| THE LANGHE |

Villa Ribota is situated right in the heart of the Langhe, one of the world’s best and most varied wine-producing areas. The house is surrounded by Nebbiolo vines and boasts views to Novello and the snow-capped Alps beyond.

The area was recently recognised with UNESCO World Heritage status, and it’s easy to see why; Vines stretch in every direction as far as the eye can see, broken only by the occasional hazelnut grove, wonderful hilltop village or ancient castle.

The Villa is in the Barolo Zone, an area of just 11 villages within which Barolo, The King of Wines, can be produced. It’s not all wine though… the International Slow Food Movement is based just down the road in Bra and come autumn dogs can be heard barking as they scour the forests below the house in search of the elusive white truffle.
